The students mostly say ‘it depends’; however, that is the main reason their Essay Writing score is lower than expected. The IELTS or PTE examiners also expect that students argue after selecting one side. It shows how confident the student is in arguing for or against.

Students Do Not Choose One Side

Apart from a mandatory condition, the benefit of strongly supporting one side (i.e., agree or disagree not both) is that your thoughts become naturally aligned. You feel much comfortable in producing the relevant reasons and justifying with the help of explanation and examples. Your Writing becomes clearer and all the ideas automatically interconnect.
